RELEASE of ESG REPORT (January 22):
Diamond Standard leads the way on environmental and social responsibility. The report details significant ESG benefits derived from Diamond Standard’s regulatory oversight and operational approach for the creation of diamond commodities.
LAUNCH of INITIAL BAR OFFERING (March 7):
Diamond Standard Bar offered for the first time at 10X the Coin price. The Bar is the world's second regulator-approved, exchange tradable, fungible diamond commodity, after the Diamond Standard Coin, which launched in 2021.
LAUNCH of DIAMOND STANDARD FUND (May 2):
Diamond Standard Fund created in partnership with Horizon Kinetics. The Fund enables investors to allocate diamonds conveniently via shares, making this brilliant asset accessible to IRAs, funds, and investors who cannot hold commodities directly.
CLOSE of SERIES A INVESTMENT ROUND (September 14):
Raised $30 million led by Left Lane Capital and Horizon Kinetics. Additional participants in the round, designed to expand production capacity and accelerate distribution of the world's only regulator-approved diamond commodities, include Gaingels and Republic.co.
DEBUT of SPOT MARKET (October 4):
Diamond Standard launches no-fee Spot Market for fungible coins. The peer-to-peer marketplace uses a centralized limit order book, where individuals or market-makers can trade the Diamond Standard tokens for USDC stablecoins, issued by Circle and pegged to U.S. dollars.
EXPANSION of EXECUTIVE TEAM (October 31):
Diamond Standard adds key leaders to meet growing demand. The expansion of its executive team with four key hires and promotions increases focus on our fastest growing source of demand — institutional investors.
